The CompX Timberline Drawer / Door Lock CB-280 is a surface-mounted deadbolt lock housing designed for use on office furniture drawers and cabinet doors . It is part of the Timberline Type 280 modular locking system and is commonly installed on desks, credenzas, cabinets, lockers, and institutional furniture. This lock features a horizontal mount design , a 180-degree key rotation , and a deadbolt that remains flush with the housing when unlocked , providing secure locking with a clean appearance. The housing is manufactured from durable black nylon , making it well-suited for commercial and institutional environments. 16.5mm diameter barrel. Most commonly mounted on ¾” thick material. Important: This product is a lock housing only . A Timberline lock core and keys are sold separately unless purchased as a complete lock kit.  If you order a lock kit, three items will be added to your cart – a lock housing, lock core and keys. Please do not remove any of these items if you want a complete lock kit.
