Hirsh Industries File Cabinet Locks
File cabinet locks from Hirsh Industries, for lateral and vertical files.
Pull the old lock and measure it. Barrel length and the mounting cutout both have to match.
If some drawers lock and others do not, the locking bar is usually at fault rather than the Hirsh Industries lock itself. Check that the bar moves freely before replacing the cylinder. Check the fixings as well as the lock. A replacement that fits the cutout but not the existing screws still means drilling.
