HON File Cabinet Locks

HON file cabinet locks, for lateral and vertical filing cabinets.

Pull the old lock and measure it. Barrel length and the mounting cutout both have to match.

If some drawers lock and others do not, the locking bar is usually at fault rather than the HON lock itself. Check that the bar moves freely before replacing the cylinder. Take the old part out and measure it rather than ordering from a catalogue photograph, since bodies that look alike often differ by a few millimetres.
