Blanks that look almost identical can still refuse to enter the same lock, because the difference is milled into the blade rather than cut into the outline. Check the profile before you order. Buying blanks makes sense if you cut in volume or keep a service van stocked; for one or two keys, having them cut to code is usually faster.
