National Office Core Removal Keys
National Office core removal keys, also called control keys. You use one to take a lock core out and put a new one in, without taking the cabinet apart.
A control key releases the core rather than opening the lock, so you need an operating key as well.
National Office removable core locks are built so a site can be rekeyed in minutes. You turn the control key, slide the old core out and drop a new one in, and that lock now takes a different key. Facilities teams use this when staff change or a key goes missing. Keep the control key separate from the keys it manages.
