Pelican Drawer Core Removal Keys

Pelican Drawer core removal keys, also called control keys. You use one to take a lock core out and put a new one in, without taking the cabinet apart.

A core removal key does not open the lock. It only releases the core.

Removable cores exist so that changing who can open a lock does not mean pulling the lock out of the furniture. One Pelican Drawer control key serves every lock on the same system, which makes it the most security-sensitive key in the building. It should not live on the same ring as the keys it controls.
