Look for the code on the face of the lock, or on a key you already have. Copy it exactly, letters included.
The code stays with the lock for its life, which is what makes a replacement possible years after the last key vanished. It is stamped somewhere on the lock body, though on some fittings you have to open the door or pull the drawer to reach it.
