Look for the code on the face of the lock, or on a key you already have. Copy it exactly, letters included.

Where a key turns stiffly rather than not at all, the lock has usually seized rather than the key having worn out. Clean and lubricate the mechanism first. If it still will not turn, a fresh key cut to code is the next step.
